Tamil Nadu Premier League 2021 To Begin on July 19


TNPL 2021 has received permission from the Tamil Nadu Government to hold the 5th edition of the local T20 league. It will begin from jule 19, onwards


The tournament will be held behind closed doors. 5 RT-PCR tests and 5-day quarantine for the players & officials have been set as mandatory.

TNPL July August 2021 Venues: The state government Of Tamil Nadu has given permission to stage the 32 matches in three match centres. After a meeting on last Friday, the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association ( TNCA ) will decide on the other two venues. Tirunelveli, Dindigul, Coimbatore and Salem have also come forwarding to stage the matches. After the first leg, Chennai will also host the final match of Tamil Nadu Premiere League.


Tamil Nadu Cricket Association ( TNCA ) sources have said that the players, officials and support staff Members will enter quarantine on July 4 in Chennai Tamil Nadu. Befores going into isolation, all the players will have to show two negative covid19 results in RT-PCR tests and three more during the five-days quarantines. The players will be allowed to practise from July 9 or July 10. As per the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) stipulations, the anti-corruption officials of the BCCI will monitors the games.
